🔢 Elo Rating Mechanics

No Limits League runs on a customized multiplayer Elo rating algorithm. Every driver starts their campaign with a baseline rating of 1500 Elo.

The K-Factor: Controls how heavily a race affects your rating. Higher K-factors produce bigger swings (ideal for high-stakes championship rounds).
Expectation Scaling: The system calculates a projected finishing order based on all participants' starting Elos. If you beat higher-rated drivers, your rating gain is amplified.
Zero-Sum Balance: Total rating points gained by the field equal total points lost, preserving the league's rating economy.

💵 Prize Pool Allocations

The Season 1 prize fund is funded continuously and paid out at the grand finale. Here is how the prize balance is divided:

Pick the driver you think will finish with the higher rating after tonight's races and watch the odds shift in real time as money comes in.

Live Odds: The market blends each racer's Elo history with the current bet pool (40% market weight), so heavy action moves the line just like a sportsbook.
Reference Scale: Payouts are quoted against a $10,000 bet so you can size up potential returns — the displayed "Win $x" is the profit on that stake.
House Edge: A guaranteed ≥ 1% vig is locked into every market and payouts settle once the night's winner is declared.

🏎️ Racing Code of Conduct

1. Be chill.

Dont ruin someones day just because you can't drive. We are all here to enjoy the day, your elo is not that important. This goes for cops too, don't shoot them over 7 months.

2. No supers.

We want to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all participants. A wide variety of sports cars helps encourage new drivers, and prevents boring people chasing a $2000000 meta car.

3. Clean starts.

No nos before checkpoint 3. This keeps the starts clean, and prevents some NOS overusage.

How can I register for the league?

Reach out to any host. They can make you a profile, and collect your buy in before every race night! Please request changes to your profile in the #profile-edit-requests channel so that a host can reach out. Bio, Name, and picture, are all editable.

What happens if a driver misses a race session?

Missing a session does not penalize your current Elo rating. Since rankings are calculated using active participants, your rating stays locked until your next session.
